The Heart of Evident Conference
Evident Conference is shaking campuses and communities across America with the Gospel, hosting powerful revivals and leading people into life-changing encounters with Jesus. We exist to take the church beyond four walls and into places where faith is being formed, calling a generation to repentance, renewal, and bold obedience. Through worship, preaching, and the power of the Holy Spirit, lives are transformed, faith is awakened, and the Kingdom of Heaven advances.
What We Believe
Evident Conference
At Evident Conference, our mission is to see lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. The following beliefs represent the biblical foundation that guides our ministry, gatherings, leadership, and vision.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Written through human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Scripture reveals God's character, His will for humanity, and His plan of redemption. The Bible serves as the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
Scripture Reference: 2 Timothy 3:16–17
God & The Trinity
We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, equal in power, glory, and authority, yet distinct in role and function within God's divine plan.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice for humanity through His crucifixion. He rose bodily from the grave, defeated sin and death, and now sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest, Advocate, and Savior.
Scripture References: Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 12:2
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace made available through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Humanity, separated from God by sin, can receive forgiveness and new life through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus. Salvation brings redemption, restoration, and reconciliation with God.
Scripture References: Romans 3:23–24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 1:9
Baptism
We believe water baptism is an act of obedience for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a public declaration of faith symbolizing the death of the old life and resurrection into new life in Christ. While baptism does not grant salvation, it demonstrates identification with Jesus and commitment to follow Him.
Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36–39; Romans 6:4
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts hearts, guides believers into truth, and empowers followers of Christ to live holy and effective lives. We affirm that the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to operate today for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God's Kingdom.
Scripture References: John 16:13–14; 1 Corinthians 12:1–11
The Return of Christ
We believe in the promised return of Jesus Christ. His return will bring the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan, including the bodily resurrection of believers, both those who have died and those who remain alive. We live with anticipation, hope, and readiness for His coming.
Scripture References: Matthew 24:29–31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18
